Mr. Anthony was pinnned to the ground when the horse fell, and the animal in struggling to regain its feet, kicked him in the head, causing fractures which ended his life about four o'clock yesterday afternoon. The accident happened near the home ranch on the north side, about 8 o'clock yesterday morning, and as soon as possible the body was brought to Miles City and placed in a local hospital. "Mrs. Anthony, wife of the injured man, was sent for and arrived from the ranch about noon, but Mr. Anthony never regained consciousness. "Deceased leaves two children besides his wife. "Relatives at Rothiemay, and his mother residing in Iowa, have been advised of his death, and pending word from his relatives the body will remain at the Plimpton mortuary, where it was taken following his demise."
